Trekking was introduced late in the hills of Nepal; there are still some remote areas untouched by modern lives and undisturbed by modern influence. The remote hills and mountains of Nepal offer a one-of-a-kind trekking experience as you travel through authentic ethnic villages, experience life away from modernity, and take in the absolutely beautiful views of the landscapes.
If you have never been on a trek, we offer beginner-friendly treks that are the best for first-timers. You do not have to worry about any kind of sickness or injury during these treks as our porters and guides will ensure a safe travel.
In contrast, we also have some special treats for pro trekkers and climbers. Multiple expeditions and mountain climbing adventures await you. During these journeys, not only will you travel to amazing highlands but also explore the area for weeks or climb a literal mountain.
While on one of our treks, you will be staying in tea houses, and lodges for the most part and we will accommodate you in the best stay available. You will be sharing a room with your fellow traveler since that is how the standard practice goes in the mountains of Nepal.
Now, you might have heard about altitude sickness. Even if you aren’t a pro trekker most people know about it and if you don’t, we’ll inform you right now. In a nutshell, altitude sickness is a condition that occurs at high altitude due to a lack of oxygen in your body.
Hill Sherpa takes extra care to ensure your safety and thus, we have added acclimatization days on every Himalayan trekking destination we offer. Taking a day off to condition your body to the sudden change in temperature, environmental conditions, and thinning air, is the best way to avoid this potentially fatal condition.
