New Trekking Route in Nepal

By Pasang

Finding Nepal’s Hidden Gems. Check out the untouched hiking trails that go beyond the Crowder.

New trekking began in Nepal in the 1950s, but it truly took off in 1965. Colonel Jimmy Roberts, a British explorer, is mostly responsible for bringing trekking to the area. He arranged the first official trek in Nepal, which opened the door to tourism in the Himalayas. His trips to the Annapurna region started Nepal’s modern trekking tourism business, which has since grown into a substantial part of the country’s economy.

New hiking routes have been opened up in response to the increased demand and to give people more options. The Nepalese government wants to boost tourism, so it’s easier to travel to rural places. For example, the mysterious kingdom of Upper Mustang, which was once off-limits, is now a fascinating place for brave trekkers to visit. Also, improvements to infrastructure, like roads that are easier to get to and tea house services, have made it possible to explore trails that were never explored before in the 20th century. These include the Mundhum Trail Trek, Namunla Pass, Manaslu Tsum Valley, Limi Valley Trek, Dharma Hill Trek, Rara Lake Trek, Pikey Peak Trek, Everest Culture Trek, Dudh Kunda, and many more.

These new trekking routes in Nepal are the best way to find new, unknown roads, quiet villages, and lively cultures. These newly opened trails in some of Nepal’s most beautiful trekking areas, like the Everest region, the Annapurna region in Kaski district, Mustang, Rolwaling, Gauri Shangkhar district, Kanchenjunga region, and Dolpo region, will give you an unforgettable experience, whether you want to go on a short trek or a longer adventure that lasts 8 to 26 days.
