Gelu Sherpa is a highly motivated and professional trekking guide in Hill Sherpa Trekking. He has more than 10 years of guiding experience and has guided in Nepal. He has undergone several professional training such as KEEP training, guide training by the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), first aid training, weather forecasting and cultural training.

Gelu has also headed expeditions in all the main areas of Nepal such as Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Makalu Barun, Mustang (restricted area), Kanchenjunga, and the isolated Dolpo valleys. All his journeys are safe, enjoyable and meaningful, as he knows the mountains, the trails and the local culture well enough.

He has a reputation of being friendly, good in leadership and able to motivate and take care of his trekkers during the journey. Gelu also speaks English, Hindi and this will make it easy to communicate among the international visitors. He is a well-established and competent leader in trekking in Nepal with his skills, experience, and commitment.
