He has successfully led numerous expeditions, including the Ama Dablam and Himlung Expeditions, and has summited Island Peak (6,189m), Lobuche Peak (6,119m), and Mera Peak (6,476m) multiple times.
Wangchhu Sherpa received his mountain training from the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and completed guide training from the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu. Additionally, he is certified in first aid, rock climbing, and ice climbing.
While Wangchhu is passionate about all mountains and enjoys assisting clients with their trekking and climbing adventures, his specialties include Ama Dablam (6,814m), Mera Peak (6,476m), Lobuche Peak (6,119m), Island Peak (6,189m), Pachhermo Peak (6,200m), Larkya Peak (6,210m), Pisang Peak (6,091m), Tent Peak (5,800m), and Yala Peak.
With over 14 years of experience guiding trekking, peak climbing, and expeditions throughout Nepal, Wangchhu Sherpa is deeply knowledgeable about every trekking route in the Himalayas. He has an exceptional ability to ensure the safety and well-being of his clients, no matter where their adventure takes them.
