This path will include additional days to your journey and is simply incredible with mountain and spiritual views.

There is also a shorter route that you can also follow when going back to the same route where you walked along Kyanjin Gompa to Syabrubesi which is the usual and easy route followed by trekkers with little time. These alternative paths allow you the choice of either a quick and easy walk or a more adventurous and extended walk with your time and interests.
In the Langtang Valley Trek, one stays in teahouses and lodges primarily. These are plain yet cozy joints that are operated by local families. Most places have two bedrooms with blankets and the bathrooms are commonly shared. The higher you are the more basic the facilities, yet the hospitality is always warm and friendly.
In the case of transportation, the trip begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi or other similar villages such as Thulo Syabru or Khangjim. This is mostly travelled by jeep or local bus. You will go back to Kathmandu by road in the same manner after the trek.
The teahouses on the trail have meals. You will have a wide choice of food including rice, noodles, soup, potatoes, eggs, and the main favourite of Nepal dal bhat, which provides good trekking energy. Simple and local dishes are offered.
Drinks available include tea, coffee, hot lemon, and bottled or boiled water. One is advised to take as much water as possible. At high altitude avoid alcohol as it can predispose one to altitude sickness. All in all, the facilities are basic but sufficient to make the Langtang Valley visit comfortable and well-fed.
Communication is also limited in higher places and is possible during the Langtang Valley Trek. At low altitudes, there might be a mobile network connection, but as you rise up the altitude the signal weakens or even fails to respond. The best thing to do before the trek is to keep your family informed and keep in touch with them as long as you have access to a network.
Most teahouses have charging facilities in order to charge your gadgets. You have an opportunity to charge your phone, camera or power bank, though you might have to pay a little extra. Electrical power is typically billed in the dining area and at higher elevations power can be cut off so a power bank is very advisable to carry.
Most teasies have WiFi and internet but it is slow and unreliable in some instances such as Kyanjin Gompa and Langtang Village. Internet connectivity might not even exist in remote locations.
In general, communication and internet access are basic, but not always powerful and fast. It is an excellent opportunity to be a little out of touch and appreciate the natural scenery of the Langtang Valley.

There are two major permits, namely the Langtang National Park Entry Permit and the Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) Card. The entrance to the Langtang National Park is the permit to the park that is under protection and is controlled at the entrance.
Both of the permits are readily organized in advance of the trek by your trekking agency. You must also have a passport when trekking since sometimes you may be required to have the permit at various stages of the trail. These permits are not only used to conserve the environment but also to help the local communities as well as to ensure that your trek is safe and legal.
Langtang Valley Trek is a trip full of adventure, culture, and nature. Beautiful mountain sceneries of snow-capped mountains such as Langtang Lirung, serene valleys, and alpine woodland of rhododendron, pine, and bamboo will be the expectation. The hike consists of average hiking, slow ascents and certain steep parts, and lasts approximately 3-7 hours per day.
