This is a difficult and adventurous day, as you pass the high Kongma La Pass (5,535m). The pass provides incredible mountain ranges and glacial scenery. On the other end, there is Pokalde Base Camp. During the afternoon, your climbing guide will give you the basic training on the use of crampons, ice axe, harness, and rope techniques in anticipation of summit day.
